Our client is a global leader in building materials with more than 25,000 staff with a £3.3Bn Revenue globally.
They have a need for a National Sales Manager to join their Road Reinforcement business.
You will manage the sales process engaging with clients and customers in the Construction/ Highways industry, targeting new business opportunities and expanding in existing business through prospect and lead management.
Building deep insights in the relevant market, customers, products and applications.
You will be self-motivated and target driven individual able to work independently delivering long-term growth.
You will be working with an established product, strong business leads and a developing client network across the UK. There is huge potential to further develop the role, continuing to build the UK business, engaging with the central European business.
You will:
- Lead the sales process, create and implement account plans to grow the business. Articulating product solutions and demonstrate the realised value of the products.
- Support the customer project leads by convincing third party stakeholders of the customers’ solution and ensure job site support.
- Analyse the market, indicate the key-elements of the business, and understand the industry, its players, competition and trends.
- Create and deliver a commercial growth plan to the Management team.
- You grow the business through pro-active prospect and lead management towards potential customers.
- Work with a high degree of autonomy, provide monthly forecasting and reporting.
You will have:
- A relevant technical degree or equivalent.
- Experience in selling to the Engineering/Construction - Roads and Highways market.
- Highways/Road industry knowledge and have experience in distribution channel and/or key account experience.
- A good technical understanding, and an interest and motivation to learn about Asphalt reinforcement solutions & products.
