Electrical Engineer

Do you have a knowledge of PLC's, HMI Software and SCADA Systems? Are you qualified to ONC level or above in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or above? If so, a specialist manufacturing company based in Benfleet are looking to recruit an Electrical Engineer to work within their expanding Projects Office to provide both office-based technical support and on-site services to their clients. The company have been established for over 40 years and can offer a friendly and stable working environment.

Duties:

• Working within the Projects office in a team of 5 providing project engineering support and coordination/management of specified customer projects or orders.
• Following a period of training you will provide both office based technical support and on-site service to the company's customers worldwide.
• Using knowledge of PLC's HMI software and SCADA systems to provide in house programming and fault finding.
• Liaising with design draughtman, project engineers and electrical workshops in all aspects of the company's electrical/electronic engineering activities.

Candidate requirements:

• Must have an ONC qualification in a relevant subject or higher.
• A good knowledge of PLC's, HMI software and SCADA systems
• An understanding of Eplan and AutoCAD based software is preferred.
• An electrical design, manufacture, installation or maintenance background would be an advantage.
• Must be willing to travel worldwide
• Due to the nature of the business candidates who do not hold a British or EU passport will not be considered
• Must have own transport
