Opportunity for a contentious lawyer to transition in-house

Background:

Our client is a leading FTSE 250 financial services company who are seeking to hire an enthusiastic lawyer who has a minimum of 3 years PQE and has spent some time at an elite private practice firm or FS institution in a contentious role. This is an excellent opportunity to transition into a generalist in-house role with responsibilities including drafting and negotiating a variety of commercial contracts, IT, marketing and outsourcing.

What will make you successful?

• E&W qualified with a minimum of 3 years PQE
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to communicate complexlegal issues in a concise manner
• Excellent organisation, analytical and negotiation skills
• Ability to work wellautonomously and as part of a team, assumingmanagerial responsibilities where appropriate
• Preference for candidates with experience working in the financial services sector
