This role involves assisting the teacher with daily tasks and supporting children, including those with special needs and learning disabilities, either one-on-one or in group settings. About the role - Primary Teaching assistant - Islington

A mainstream Primary school located in Islington are seeking for a Primary teachers assistant to support children across KS1-KS2, also you'll be supporting the teacher with daily tasks. Primary school teacher's assistants work closely with children to support with their academic abilities, such as assisting children with special needs and learning disabilities on a day basis, you'll have students that you work with 1:1, or group settings - therefore the ability to build a good relationship with the children you work with is essential as a Primary School Teaching Assistant. You will liaise with teachers, SENDCO and other Primary school teacher assistants. There are also opportunities to lead intervention groups for children within your class or year group. This role involves assisting the teacher with daily tasks and supporting children, including those with special needs and learning disabilities, either one-on-one or in group settings. Building strong relationships with the children is essential for this position.
