Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter/Welder to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for welding and assembling pumps using arc and MIG welding techniques. This role requires a hands-on individual who can take initiative and solve problems effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform arc and MIG welding on various components.
• Assemble pumps and related equipment.
• Frame, weld, and assemble pipes as part of daily tasks.
• Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the assembly and welding process.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow.

Person Specification:

• Previous experience as a mechanical fitter/welder is essential.
• Completion of an apprenticeship in a relevant field is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in arc and MIG welding techniques.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
