We are currently conducting a confidential search for a commercially astute and dynamic Managing Director to lead and expand the UK division of leading Tier 1 Automotive supplier, a global leader in the automotive industry. The business is renowned for its innovative solutions and high-quality products, serving a diverse range of automotive manufacturers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a robust commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, expanding the customer base and enhancing existing relationships.
- Oversee sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market demands.
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and partnership agreements to maximize profitability.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, ensuring sustainable growth and cost efficiency.
- Drive operational excellence, optimizing processes to enhance productivity and quality.
- Build, lead, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven track record in a senior commercial leadership role within the automotive industry.
- Strong strategic mindset with a focus on business development and revenue generation.
- Exceptional financial acumen with experience in managing budgets, forecasts, and P&L.
- Demonstrated ability to drive growth, develop new markets, and achieve business objectives.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve outstanding results.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is highly desirable.
