Transport Planner

Our client are looking for an experienced transport planner to join their busy transport team, you will unsure efficient & effective plans are created daily ensuring all jobs are planned and allocated for the following days plan. Good knowledge of planning is a must

As a transport planner your duties will include;

• Complete efficient and effective routes for the following day/week

• knowledge of road networks as vehicles can be out all week

• Managing customer/network orders and prioritisation based on customer requirements
• Help build runs for the general drivers
• Print and collate all driver s paperwork
• Pre-assign required collections

The ideal candidate with have the following;

• Experience working in a transport operation
• Strong communicator and customer service skills
• Calm under pressure and good at problem solving
• A positive attitude to work
• Committed and dedicated to the role and providing the best possible service for the customer

Salary upto 32k plus benefits

The working hours are Monday to Friday 7:00am to 5:00pm, inclusive of a 1-hour lunch break (45 hours per week).

Participation would be required in the rota systems for Saturdays.
