TeacherActive are proud to be recruiting Teaching Assistants / TAs to work within SEND education settings, in & around Torbay. We have some brilliant opportunities for Long Term, Day to Day or Short Term roles. This role will involve working with Primary & Secondary age students.

These schools are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants / TAs who have a passion for providing all kinds of classroom support, as well as an interest in providing Learning Outside The Classroom / LOTC, behaviour management & 1:1 Teaching Assistant support.

The successful Teaching Assistant / TA will have:

• Relevant experience within education / tutoring / health & social care as a Teaching Assistant / Support Assistant
• Resilience & Confidence in Challenging Behaviour
• Confidence supporting students with SEND, including ASD / SEMH / PMLD / MLD
