As an
Accounts Senior, you will be responsible for year-end accounts preparation, management accounts, and other client-focused projects, ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare working files and draft accounts for clients.
- Address client queries and prepare discussion points for senior managers and partners.
- Manage client accounts within agreed budgets.
- Produce draft tax computations and provisions for inclusion in company accounts.
- Ensure compliance with statutory disclosures according to company guidelines.
- Identify tax planning opportunities while adhering to standard procedures.
- Utilize accounting software to produce high-quality work.
- Participate in ongoing training to enhance technical and professional skills.
- Work towards professional qualifications, supported by full study packages.
- Represent the firm professionally in client interactions and industry events.
Experience & Skills:- Previous experience as an Accounts Senior in an accounting firm.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Familiarity with cloud-based accounting software (IRIS, Xero preferred but not essential).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities.
- Proactive, self-driven approach to work.
Qualifications:- ACA or ACCA qualified (part-qualified candidates will be considered).
