ABOUT US- JBD TRITEC Ltd provide turnkey solutions and bespoke offerings across 5 divisions including Fabrication/Pipework/valve overhaul/ pump sales and service and mechanical engineering services. Our client base is varied across the industrial sector. Operating for over 45 years our business enjoys a high level of repeat business. Our main industries are Food and Drinks, Pharma, Energy, Water and Renewables.

ROLE- An opportunity to join an experienced team, replacing our outgoing Fabrication Manager who is retiring after decades in the role. The position would ideally suit an experienced fabrication manager or possibly an experienced supervisor looking for their next challenge.

THE PERSON- We require a candidate with relevant expertise who can work well alongside our experienced team and within our existing structure, system and client base. You should have a valid driving licence and be based in our Glasgow office. Depending on experience, the right candidate can be trained in our systems, responsibilities and all associated activities. That person would have a background in fabrication in both stainless and carbon steel, ideally being involved in the manufacture and install of walkways/structures/platforms/tanks and vessels across the aforementioned industries.

RESPONSIBILITIES-

Working with our divisional manager you would be responsible for all aspects of our fabrication projects large and small from conception to completion.

Generating and accepting enquiries from initial contact through to site visits, client meetings and pricing to tender stage.

Receiving and processing orders, organising drawings etc, procurement of materials and issuing work instructions.

Management of the works through our fabrication workshops.

Competent in preparation of associated documentation, risk assessments, , method statements, programs etc.

Managing tradesmen during fabrication and site installations including any subcontract activities.

All aspects of project management, planning and problem solving.

Managing projects to completion and to the acceptance of clients.

Client retention focusing on meeting budgets and programs to ensure repeat business by delivering good quality installation and overall project satisfaction.

You would be based in our Glasgow office and travelling through the day to sites as required to manage projects.
