Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on procurement projects in one of the IT, Professional Services or Logistics categories - spend £5-£50m dependent on experience
- A split between Category Planning and implementation, with delivery of strategic sourcing projects end to end
- Opportunity Assessment - Proactive in identifying procurement opportunities and building stakeholder relationships
- Support on spend reporting and analysis in a cross functional environment
- Strategic Sourcing
Key Skills:
- Indirect procurement experience - It is important you have a good foundation of Procurement experience around the end to end process, with a good understanding of 'best practice' and the ambition to continuously grow and learn
- Able to work in a fast paced environment
- Project Management skills - able to manage multiple projects and deliver at pace
- Strong interpersonal skill-set - able to build lasting relationships and influence these
- Good understanding of category strategy/planning
- CIPS/Degree or equivalent qualification
