You’ll be joining a household name at a site that makes instantly recognisable and delicious products. Just unfortunately ‘regular taste panels’ isn’t on the list of responsibilities.

Quality is held in incredibly high regard with these guys and is at the forefront of everything that they do. Definitely not something that you can say about most businesses.

You’ll also be joining a warm and open team with a great culture which is all led by a fantastic department lead.

You’ll be responsible for maintaining hygiene, food safety ad quality compliance whilst delivering on objectives such as reducing complaints and foreign bodies. You’ll also ensure GMP standards throughout the factory and support on the programme for ‘zero quality defects’, whilst leading on quality initiatives to reduce losses. On top of that you’ll be promoting quality awareness, managing quality incidents with root cause analysis, investigate customer complaints and update the quality systems. Finally you’ll need to promote an ‘audit ready’ at all times mentality and follow up on corrective actions for non-conformances.

You’ll need to have worked in the food manufacturing industry previously, but it doesn’t really matter what type of product. You will need to give examples of where you’ve done each of the above things, and ideally will have your Food Safety and HACCP qualifications. Whether you’ve been Quality Manager, QA Supervisor, Compliance Officer, Quality Technologist it doesn’t really matter your title!
