This is an opportunity for someone with at least one year of experience within Part O assessments to work within an award-winning consultancy that works closely with leading UK housebuilders from a fully remote position. Responsibilities of the Overheating Assessor:

  • Producing overheating TM52 and TM59 Assessments, Part O assessments
  • Active engagement with the client and project team to ensure that sustainability requirements are taken into consideration and achieved throughout the duration of the development
  • Delivery of high-quality overheating and thermal comfort analysis using IES
  • Thermal modelling using IES Software
  • Being involved in energy assessments and modelling improvements
  • Consult on building design to comply with Part L

The ideal Overheating Assessor will:

  • Be computer literate and have a good level of general education
  • Be competent in the use of IES for overheating
  • Be able to manage their time effectively
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Be self-motivated and able to deal with a fast-paced environment
