Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer with 10 to 15 years of expertise in AWS DevOps services to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT consulting and analytics, with the ability to design and implement cloud DevOps solutions that meet business objectives, enhance security, and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Infrastructure Management:
- Develop, deploy, and maintain scalable infrastructure using AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, and CloudFormation.
- CI/CD Pipeline Implementation:
- Design and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline to streamline development and deployment processes.
- Automation:
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation, ensuring efficiency and consistency across environments.
- Monitoring & Logging:
- Set up and manage robust monitoring and logging solutions using AWS CloudWatch, the ELK Stack, or Prometheus to ensure system reliability and performance tracking.
- Security Best Practices:
- Implement and maintain security best practices within the AWS environment, utilizing services such as AWS IAM, AWS KMS, and AWS WAF to safeguard infrastructure and data.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with software developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and reliable operations of software and systems, promoting collaboration across teams.
- Issue Resolution:
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to application deployment and infrastructure, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal system performance.
Key Skills and Experience:
- 10 to 15 years of experience in cloud DevOps, with extensive expertise in AWS services.
- Proven experience in infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD processes, including hands-on experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, and AWS CodePipeline.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus.
- Deep knowledge of AWS security services like AWS IAM, AWS KMS, and AWS WAF.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to application deployment and infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
