Retail Store Manager - Weird Fish Franchise

We are looking for an talented individual to manage our Weird Fish franchise store in Ambleside. Salary up to £34,000 OTE.

Previous store management experience is essential, either at Manager or Assistant Manager level. We are looking for excellent proven organisational, merchandising and customer service skills in a retail environment and the drive to achieve sales targets. Attention to detail and initiative are required, as is a flexible approach with a hard-working, friendly and outgoing manner. An interest in fashion would be great, as would a good eye for colour. Our focus is on ensuring our stores look fabulous and engaging with our wonderful customers. Responsibilities include:

• Inspiring team and leading by example
• Ensuring the best customer experience
• Overseeing store pricing and stock control
• Recruiting, training, supervising and appraising staff
• Setting store sales targets and motivating the team to meet them
• Planning and directing enticing visual merchandising
• Ensuring excellence in housekeeping
• Liaising with head office and other stores
• Matching staffing levels with consumer demand
• Ensuring compliance with H&S legislation and company procedures
• Compiling brief weekly and monthly reports
