Position: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer
Salary: 42,000 - 50,000
Location: Cornwall (Commutable from St, Ives, Truro, Hayle, Redruth, Newquay, Falmouth)
Multiple roles available:
-Monday - Friday (Day Shift ) or Sunday - Thursday (Early Shift)

Their facility is a fast-paced environment, and they pride themselves on delivering consistent, top-quality products while ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently. To support the growth and maintain high standards, we're looking for experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers who thrive on a challenge and are eager to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
To carry out both reactive and planned maintenance in the fast paced environment.
Rapidly respond to machinery breakdowns and failures to ensure minimum disruption to production.
Provide hands-on repairs and adjustments on a range of machinery, including conveyors, packing equipment, wrappers and other critical food production systems.
Work closely with the production and engineering teams to identify improvement opportunities.
Conduct routine safety checks, report hazards, and ensure safe working practices are always followed.
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts usage.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong electrical and mechanical background in a similar fast-paced manufacturing environment. (Food Manufacturing preferred)
Excellent fault-finding skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting both mechanical and electrical issues.
NVQ, BTEC, or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering; a recognised apprenticeship or similar qualification is desirable.
