Position: Regional Manager

Job Type: Permanent, Full time

Location: South Region, to cover stores from Birmingham southwards

Working days: 5 days over 7 (weekends included)

Salary – £60k basic + performance bonus = OTE £80k-£100k+. A company car or car allowance will also be provided.


To support its expansion of more stores, NCF Living is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Regional Manager. We’re looking for somebody to motivate and coach our teams to drive the performance of a cluster of stores. The successful candidate will currently be in a high performing Sales/Regional Manager role, ready to take the next step in their retail career. Your role/responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the Director of Retail and Senior Management to manage a cluster of stores.
  • To lead, inspire, motivate and develop a group of high performing store teams, ensuring the sales management and staff are coached through effective leadership.
  • Ensure all stores are achieving and exceeding their sales targets and growth objectives through set KPI’s, which are measured and reviewed regularly.
  • Ensuring effective communication between Head Office and stores, to ensure important messages are understood and acted on in a timely manner.

  • You will be directly responsible for overseeing the effective day to day management of the stores, including staff/rota planning, staff appraisals and general performance reviews.


Requirements:

  • Experience of managing either a group of stores, or a number of people in multiple locations for over 2 years.
  • Recruitment
  • Experience of working within sales and retail
  • Ability to manage people and have a clear dichotomy between yourself and subordinates
  • Not afraid of confrontation
  • Ability to have difficult conversations is a must
  • Effective communicator at all levels
  • Awareness of KPIs, expectations and deadlines
  • Strong admin and analytical skills
  • Honesty and integrity
