Milk Education are recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant for a SEND School in Newcastle area to work on a long-term basis starting in October. This is a school, who prides itself on being happy and caring, with high standards of attainment and behaviour.

SEND Teaching Assistant Role & Responsibilities:

? Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students

? Support the pupil's consistently whilst responding to their individual needs

? Work with the teacher in lesson planning, evaluating and adjusting lessons/plans as appropriate

? Deliver catch-up sessions

SEND Teaching Assistant Non-negotiables:

? Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND.

? Must have a passion for education

? Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills

? Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
