White Collar Crime Associate/Solicitor

Salary: up to £150,000 DOE

Our client, a prestigious London Law firm, are seeking a mid-level associate who specialises in internal investigations and white-collar crime, and who possesses experience that includes but is not limited to multijurisdictional legal matters, internal investigations, fraud, advisory, compliance, and due diligence.

The Role

Our client work with a range of high-level clientele and handle multiple high-stakes cross-border matters, so you will have significant responsibility from day one, managing large volumes of information, leading investigative tasks, and working on both large-scale investigations and shorter advisory projects.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, and negotiate documents related to internal investigations, due diligence, and compliance.
• Engage proactively with clients to build strong relationships.
• Conduct detailed legal research and draft memoranda on complex issues.

Requirements

• 2-5 years PQE in white-collar crime and internal investigations at a large commercial, or boutique/specialist law firm
• Experience advising on financial crime issues, e.g. anti-bribery and corruption, fraud, tax evasion and money laundering.
• Sanctions experience is beneficial.
• Strong academic record, commercial awareness, and intellectual curiosity.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and drafting skills.
• Strong time management, professional presence, and client service focus.
• Proactive, resourceful, and a team player.
