Trainee ERP systems Developer

The role will be part of the ERP development team who provide day-to-day support to our QAD MFG/pro system, carry out improvements, system enhancements, etc.

You will establish strong relationships within the organization to support the QAD MFG/pro user community and QAD project development. You will be required to develop both business functionality and technical skills across a variety of areas in support of system improvement, through problem solving to system enhancement.

Key Responsibilities

• Delivery high quality software that meets or exceed requirements and timescale commitments.
• Support system incident resolution activities as required.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the appropriate solution is delivered.
• Create and maintain technical documentation relating to the project under development.
• Conduct peer review of code and testing.

Skills & Abilities

Strong knowledge of RDMS concepts.

Knowledge of the Software Development life cycle (SDLC).

Knowledge of Basic Linux Operating system commands.

Knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office suite of products.

Qualifications

A relevant IT / Computer Science qualification

HNC/HND or Degree level

25 days holiday (mostly fixed with plant shut downs) + 8 Bank holidays

Competitive salary

37.5 hour week working Monday to Friday. 8.00am-4.30pm (Monday-Thursday) 8.00am-3.30pm (Friday)
