Plant and Field Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Plant Technician to join their dynamic team. In this vital role, you will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant, maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

LOCATION - Croydon Concrete Plant

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to the Technical Manager your main duties will include:

Product sampling from customer sites and production units.

Testing for product quality and conformity.

Sampling of raw materials.

Notifying customers where non conformities are observed at the time of discharge.

Providing feedback to production units.

Assisting in minor complaint investigation.

Maintain PPE, testing equipment and van cleanliness in accordance with requirements.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

Full UK Driving License essential.

Knowledge of concrete or the construction industry preferred but not essential.

Excellent salary and company packgage avaialble to be discussed during application.

Salary is £27,000.

The role comes with a company VW Caddy style van with the option for private use.

37.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday, 7:30-4:00. Hours of work may vary according to daily production.
