Our Sales Managers set the standard for retail on the shop floor. Responsible for driving sales, managing, and supporting an accomplished team of sales professionals, our Sales Managers ensure that our standards of service are upheld and maintained whilst being capable of adapting to the needs of a constantly changing and varied business.


Key Accountabilities:


Leadership and Coaching

  • Building and maintaining a high-performing team
  • Engage and energise the team to sell
  • Hold training sessions on products and services to actively develop the team
  • Forges and builds relationships with other departments


Service for Sales

  • Monitors progress of sales targets and productivity
  • Sets, rewards and incentivises team to achieve targets and coaches’ team to enhance their performance further
  • Works to KPI’s and targets to drive success
  • Executes floor moves in line with brand performance and sell-through
  • Provides weekly trade feedback highlighting successes, customer feedback and opportunities for further growth
  • Coaches and drives clientelling within the team and Liberty Loyalty programme. Building and sustaining a returning client profile, elevating the service proposition to that of a personal shopper


Standards

  • Attends floor walks, ensuring product availability and standards of the shop floor (including staff and stock) and stockroom are adhered to
  • Prevents stock loss ensuring all stock is tagged, free from the liability of damage, paperwork is correctly administered
  • Prepares and participates in stock take


What we would love to see:


We would love to see highly skilled Sales Managers with knowledge and experience across Home, Beauty and Fashion departments. You will understand the marketplace and current trends related to luxury, as well as the ability to demonstrate a passion for the visual impact of your product areas. Successful candidates will be able to prioritise, plan and allocate resources to ensure the efficient running of departments year-round. Whether you are coming from a luxury department store or a standalone store management role, we expect you to demonstrate your ability to run your area profitably.
