Electrical Maintenance Engineer
£50K + Overtime
2 - Shift; Earlies /Lates
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias) to join the maintenance team at a successful, print and packaging manufacturing company in Blackpool.
Reporting into the Engineering Director you will join a small team of Maintenance Engineers, ensuring all machines are effectively maintained and optimised to support production.
Key Tasks:
- Provide hands on electrical and mechanical maintenance support on a range of printing and packaging equipment
- Electrical fault finding, diagnostics and repair
- PPMs, breakdown maintenance and Route Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Work closely with production to ensure plant meets all KPI’s
- Identify improvement opportunities and support development of systems to help move the department forward
- Contribute to Capex projects - equipment installations/automation upgrades
- Ensure all H&S procedures are adhered to
Key requirements:
- Time served Electrical/Multi-Skilled Engineer (C&G/NVQ 3/HNC/HND)
- Min of 5 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of electrical systems and software; PLC's, Control Systems, HMI
- Improvement mind-set
- Excellent communication skills
