Job Title: Junior/Graduate Design Engineer

Location - Sheffield

Salary up to £35,000

Torque Consulting is currently looking for a Junior/Grad Design Engineer for UK leading manufacturing company based near Sheffield. The role is ideally for a graduate or individual with a few years of engineering experience.

You will be based within a large manufacturing site completing design work and solving real-life issues that arise for the comapny. They have been around for over 40 years, and work with clients across the UK.

Full training will be provided if you are a motivated individual who is keen to progress!

Responsibilities

• Draw, update, and maintain designs
• Manage multiple projects at the same time
• Ensure our designs meet manufacturing, technical and customer Responsibilities
• Ensure that all design projects are completed within budget and time
• Solve engineering problems and come up with solutions
• Working with the shop floor and manufacturing team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or relevant technical degree
• HNC/HND
• CAD experience
• Strong organizational and communication skills
