We have been engaged by a leading, growing bank to assist in the search for talented corporate banking originators to join their team as Relationship Directors in the mid-corporate sector, focusing on deals up to £50 million.
They are currently seeking dynamic Relationship Director's to join their London office and play a crucial role in building a mid-corporate portfolio from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:
- Grow and manage a portfolio of mid-corporate banking clients while acquiring new customers to expand the bank’s reach.
- Develop and implement a business plan that addresses internal risk challenges, external market conditions, and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee all aspects of risk management, including credit, operational, and regulatory risks.
- Collaborate closely with the Managing Director of Commercial Banking to create a strategic business plan for the designated area and support the development of team members.
Experience and Skills:
- A successful background in mid-corporate banking with substantial origination experience.
- Proven track record of developing new business and expanding a portfolio of high-quality commercial clients.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including networking, negotiation, presentation, influencing, and collaboration.
