Android Reverse Engineer

Android Reverse Engineer | Cheltenham | £70,000-£120,000

We are working with a well established, CREST accredited Consultancy who have recently won a big project with one of the world's leading Information Technology organisations. They are looking for a Android Reverse Engineer to join their team.

The company supports thousands of clients from private sector to public/defence, and have been around for over 2 decades.

This role will have you working in a team of 6 looking at the security within Android Devices, challenging questions that could not be answered by lower malware analysis tiers. The environment will be fast, and the project will be a long and challenging however very rewarded for everyone involved.

Key skills required:

• At least 3 years experience within Reverse Engineer
• Reverse engineering of Android and Java-based apps
• Experience with different types of code and languages is a plus
• Knowledge of the Android platform and its security mechanisms
• Vulnerability assessment and mobile penetration testing
• Knowledge of security-related topics, such as authentication, identity management, data leakage prevention, validation checking, encryption, hashing and software attack methodologies
