Steel Fixer

Job Description: We are looking for experienced Steel Fixers to join our dedicated team. The successful candidates will be responsible for positioning and securing steel bars and mesh used to reinforce concrete on construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Reading and interpreting construction drawings and blueprints.
• Cutting and bending steel bars and mesh to required shapes.
• Positioning and securing steel bars and mesh using wire and spacers.
• Ensuring all work complies with safety and quality standards.
• Collaborating with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently.
• Inspecting completed work for accuracy and compliance with specifications.

Requirements:

• Must have Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card (Steel Fixer)
• Proven experience as a Steel Fixer.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficient in using steel fixing tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and precision.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Must have a right to work in the UK
