Rate of Pay: 18- 20 per hour (PAYE) - Dependent on qualifications and experience

Hours of Work: 08:00 AM - 5:00 PM (40 hours per week)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and qualified Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join our team on a temporary basis with the potential for a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for the servicing and reactive maintenance of Air Handling Units (AHU) and other mechanical systems within our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• AHU Servicing and Maintenance: Perform routine servicing and reactive maintenance on AHU systems.
• Technical Support: Provide technical support to mechanical engineers as needed, with an understanding of BMS (Building Management System) operations.
• Mechanical Plant Operations: Oversee the operation and maintenance of mechanical plant systems, including pumps, motors, and other day-to-day maintenance tasks.
• Preventative Maintenance: Complete all associated mechanical Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks to ensure optimal system performance.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Competency in HVAC: Must be recognized as an HVAC Competent Person.
• Mechanical Engineering: City & Guilds trained in Mechanical Engineering.
• Plumbing Experience: Proficiency in domestic plumbing is required.
• BMS Knowledge: Experience with BMS systems is highly desirable.
• DBS Check: A valid DBS check is required for this position.
