Senior WiFi Engineer

Who Will Succeed in This Role?

You will have experience across the full technology project lifecycle, with a demonstrable track record in solution design and delivering secure Wi-Fi solutions to large enterprise clients. You will also have experience leading a team of engineers to successfully deliver solutions for both commercial and public sector organisations.

Our Engineers share a common set of characteristics and bring the experience that drives innovation and delivers client value, in particular they:

• Have an excellent understanding of the technology industry, including current and emerging digital strategies, solutions and trends.
• An intimate understanding of Cisco’s Software Defined solution portfolio and how they integrate with other Cisco technologies and also in mixed vendor environments.
• Possess situational awareness to adapt and solve challenges from both business and technology perspectives.
• Display an ability to balance strategic thinking with pragmatic operational execution and delivery, including strong client facing and team collaboration skills.
• Show empathy, curiosity, and a desire to challenge and constantly improve, acquire new skills and drive for results.

What Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience Are Required?

• Hold a current Cisco CCNP (CWNP, CWNE)
• Have 7 years + in design and delivery experience with Cisco Wi-Fi networks.
• Experience in the design and deployment of Wireless technology (Including RF related activities such as site survey).
• Have an understanding of software defined network architectures, including integration of Wi-Fi solutions with Cisco DNAC, DNA Spaces and CMX.
• Demonstrate an excellent understanding of Cisco security technologies including SASE, ISE, Umbrella, FTD and Duo.
• Have knowledge of other vendor Wi-Fi solutions such e.g. Aruba, Ruckus.
• Be an excellent communicator able to build and maintain effective relationships with both customers and peers.
• Possess excellent documentation skills, able to produce clear and accurate designs and documentation.
