About the Role:

As an Associate Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing and enhancing client relationships across multiple industries. You'll oversee long-term communications strategies, including profile-raising and media relations, while also handling special situations such as crisis management, corporate governance, and potentially mergers and acquisitions.


In this role, you’ll act as a key project manager, ensuring the smooth delivery of client work by assigning tasks, anticipating client needs, and coordinating the team’s efforts. You’ll be responsible for producing essential materials such as communication strategies, press releases, and investor presentations, while also managing media relationships and stepping in as a spokesperson when needed.


Additionally, you'll mentor junior team members, provide strategic support to senior leadership, and contribute to new business development, leveraging your insight and creativity to drive growth for both clients and the firm.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic communication plans for clients across a wide range of sectors.
  • Manage client accounts, ensuring timely delivery of tasks and maintaining high standards of service.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to support high-profile communications strategies.
  • Produce key client deliverables, including media statements and presentation materials.
  • Foster relationships with key media contacts and respond to inquiries on behalf of clients.


What We’re Looking For:

  • 4+ years of experience in corporate reputation and strategic communications.
  • Keen understanding of business and current affairs.
  • Experience in financial communications and M&A is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of the UK media landscape.
  • Independent thinker with excellent judgement and integrity.
