Overview

The Commercial Director plays a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and commercial success of the organization within private acute mental health hospitals throughout the whole of England. This leadership position involves overseeing the development and implementation of business strategies, managing key client relationships, and ensuring that all commercial activities align with the company's objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, exceptional leadership skills, and a keen understanding of market dynamics.

Duties

- Develop and execute comprehensive commercial strategies to enhance market presence and drive revenue growth.

- Lead and manage the commercial team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align product development with market needs.

- Monitor financial performance, including cost control measures, to ensure profitability and sustainability.

- Prepare regular reports for senior management on commercial performance and strategic initiatives.

Skills

- Proven experience in a senior commercial role, preferably within a similar industry.

- Strong leadership abilities with excellent interpersonal skills to motivate and manage teams effectively.

- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.

- Proficiency in cost control strategies to optimize financial performance.

- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing profitable contracts.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey ideas clearly and persuasively.

- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

Must have: Mental Health, Private Acute, PICU, Private healthcare care background it is essential and able to travel around the UK. We have also open new facilities in the USA.
