Interim Finance Manager (6-month contract) Near Liverpool UK - Full-time onsite
A leading £150M Engineering/FM organisation near Liverpool is seeking a qualified Interim Finance Manager for a 6-month contract starting in the next 2 weeks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and general ledger maintenance
- Support the year-end/statutory reporting
- Hands-on involvement in the 2025 budget process.
- End to end month end close
- Work closely with the finance team to implement process improvements and increase efficiency
- Identify and implement systems improvements
Requirements:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with proven hands-on finance experience
- Experience working in the engineering, facilities management, or construction sectors
- Proficient in using ERP systems and advanced Excel modelling skills
- Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical/analytical abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment
Contract Details:
- Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)
- Happy to be onsite 5 days/week
- Rate: £(Apply online only) per day
- IR35 Status: Outside
