Job Requirements/Description

UX Writer needed to join our dynamic cross-functional product creative team, collaborating with experts in CX, UX, UI, Research and Service Design.

This is an exciting role where you’ll get to write and script the customer experience in response to customer and business needs. We’re looking for someone who loves finding ways to solve challenges and improve the customer experience with content.

You will help to implement content strategy, shape and guide tone of voice for our clients and use research to test copy and contribute to a positive UX writing culture.

At heart you are a brilliant storyteller, editor, and design thinker who can quickly identify the audience and can create compelling content.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Shape the product experience adhering to client tone of voice (TOV) and language across US and UK English.
  • Create consistent messaging across various user journeys, including in-product messaging, navigational language, promos, error messages, landing pages, product features, and SEO-driven editorial content.
  • Confidently provide recommendations on content best practices during client interactions, articulating content decisions and addressing client questions.
  • Partner with UX/UI teams early in the design process to guide the content approach, crafting intuitive, accessible UX copy and leveraging design tools like Figma to update copy in design prototypes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure copy meets legal, compliance, and business requirements while remaining fresh, compelling, and in line with brand guidelines.
  • Review briefs and provide accurate time estimates for copy execution, from strategy through to delivery.
  • Input into new proposals and provide valuable insights for content development.
  • Analyse and optimise existing content for consistency, efficiency, and customer value.
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of content guidelines, standards, workflows, and best practices.

What we want from you:

  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Ability to write short and long form copy, as well as scripting for conversational user interfaces
  • Experience creating copy options for research and interpreting results
  • Adaptable tone for different clients and customers, and ability to work independently or seek help when needed
  • Working knowledge of design process and general UX principles
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to present to all levels within an organization
  • Confidence to challenge peers and stakeholders, and champion improvements
  • Passion for a broad range of copy disciplines and experience in e-commerce, B2B or B2C is a bonus
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or equivalent work experience
  • Native-level English proficiency in speaking and writing.

What we can offer you:

Alongside the opportunity to work with some of the most exciting brands around the world, we’ll also prioritise your career development and help you grow your skills. We’ll empower you to make a difference, allow you to be yourself, and respect who you are.

We offer a great benefits package including hybrid working that works for everyone, a discretionary bonus scheme, training opportunities, competitive pension, medical insurance, life assurance, social events, opportunities to buy and sell holidays, family friendly policies, discounts with hundreds of retailers and much more.
