About the role:

We are now looking for an experienced Fawema Machine Operator to run our retail pack flour lines in order to meet planned volume and targets in accordance with safety and quality standards. Responsible for delivering expectations by following the agreed procedures actively participating in continuous improvement.

As a Machine Operator your role responsibilities will include:

• Operating the Fawema and ZGZ production line.
• Setting up the line to run different pack sizes e.g. 500g, 1kg or 2kg packs.
• Machine changeover from one product to another.
• Ensuring proper line clearance at the end of each run or batch.
• Ensuring all product/batch is cleared from the end of line prior to the start of the next product/batch.
• Having an understanding of product specifications and make sure specs are available.
• Supporting the team in the implementation and improvement of procedures and processes to ensure required standards of work are met
• Providing recommendations to training function for all line operators.
• Positive mindset and promote teamwork.
