Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are now seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join us on this prestigious project. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure projects, contributing to the expansion and modernisation of a key international gateway.

Duties

- Initially this position will oversee the Early Contractor involvement phase of the project

- Prepare and analyse project budgets, forecasts, and reports.

- Lead procurement processes, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors.

- Manage contractual risks, providing advice to the project team.

- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and the project team to ensure financial objectives are met.

- Prepare and negotiate valuations, final accounts, and variations.

- Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.

Person Specification

- Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.

- Chartered status with RICS (or working towards).

- Extensive experience in a Senior Quantity Surveyor role, ideally within large civil engineering or infrastructure projects.

- Tendering and ECI experience

- Strong knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial management best practices.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

- Proficiency in relevant software packages.
